'Avatar' hat

It's finally finished! This is the "Avatar" hat, as seen here: [link] The lovely and I started talking about it when she made her new user icon, and I, ever-so-intelligently, said I could make the hat for her.

Well, several false starts later, here it is! It's super comfy and warm, and fits snugly with just enough give to fit any size head. I used Lamb's Pride bulky yarn and 10.5 needles. Not counting the times I had to go back and redo parts (I restarted it 3 times and had to go back and refinish the top twice) it took me between 4 and 5 hours. (I got caught up on CSI making this hat...)
